Remains of the Snow is a original mixed media,30 by 30 centimetres landscape on birch cradle ready to hang created with acrylics and found imagery.Pale fields stretch into the distance, their contours softened by the last fragile traces of winter. Snow lingers lightly across the hills,not in drama, but in memory tracing walls, hedgerows, and the gentle folds of the land. The sky is wide and suspended in a muted stillness that feels both tender and immense.In the foreground, the earth begins to re-emerge. Ochres and moss greens rise through the fading frost, suggesting thaw, endurance, and the quiet persistence of growth. The land is layered, season over season, field over field- and a patchwork of time.It is not about winter’s height, but its echo.
